Intensive Journaling

What is involved in taking responsibility for one’s own life?
It costs so much to be a full human being that there are very few who have the enlightenment or the courage to pay the price.
One has to abandon altogether the search for security and reach out to the risk of living with both arms.
One has to embrace the world like a lover.
One has to accept pain as a condition of existence.
One has to court doubt and darkness as the cost of knowing.
One needs a will stubborn in conflict, but apt always to total acceptance of every consequence of living and dying.
-Morris West

God cares about you, holistically –
ALL of you.
Typically, life tends to polarize ALL of you. The ugly parts are banished into a closet somewhere, whereas the good parts are allowed to run free expressing who you are to others. The strong traits are what you put on your resume; they are what you consciously give yourself to. They are the elements that you would hope make up your character. However, many of us have a side that we don’t speak about. It’s what you apologize for constantly. And life, in relationship with others, allows the Bad, the Weak, and the Faulty to be placed somewhere in the catacombs of your heart never to be spoken about.

The fact is: God cares about those parts of us as well. It is within this journaling course, we are able to look, interact, and come to terms with these renegade parts of who we are at the core. It is by letting God love ALL of us that we can truly be who He wants us to be. God is not interested in only the good parts. In fact, it is those parts that don’t need His love the most. It is only by exploring all of who we are that we truly can be aware of His grace and begin functioning inside of that grace. Bridge Journaling allows you to explore all of who you are in a safe environment, with support and grace.

The Bridge Journaling course is an entire weekend and includes food, materials, and housing. It will be a private, small group setting and will be led by Angie or Geoff and Crystal.

The cost is $125 per person*, which covers the cost of everything for your weekend.

If you are interested in participating in an upcoming Bridge Journaling weekend, please email one of us with your contact information.

Women’s Workshop

Grief Journaling Workshop

“He that conceals his grief finds no remedy for it”
Turkish Proverb

This is a weekend to aid in navigating the grieving process. We will be exploring how grief has affected us emotionally, spiritually and physically through guided journaling, meditation, nature and art. The group size will be kept small to foster a sacred environment where we will have the ability to move through varying processes, gain insight and empowerment in our own trek through grief.

The cost for this weekend is $125 per person, which will cover the cost of food/beverage, expenses and materials.

This will be hosted in late-March, for anyone interested.  If you are interested, please email Crystal at crystalneill@gmail.com.
